We are thrilled to announce a significant development in the ongoing journey of The Capital Networking Group listserv, which has been a cornerstone of our community since its inception in 2010. With over 1,500 members and counting, our listserv has thrived as a dynamic platform where ideas are exchanged, connections are made, and valuable insights are shared.
Introduction of an Annual Membership Fee
To ensure the continued excellence and sustainability of our listserv, we are instituting an annual membership fee of $35, effective immediately. This fee is a modest contribution that will enable us to maintain and enhance the high standards we have set for ourselves, ensuring that every email is personally moderated, and that the quality of our interactions remains exceptional.
Why an Annual Fee?
Several factors have influenced our decision to introduce this fee:
- Quality Assurance: Personal moderation of each email ensures that the content shared is relevant, respectful, and valuable. This meticulous process requires time and resources, and the fee will support our moderators’ efforts.
- Community Growth: With over 1,500 members, our community has grown significantly. The fee will help manage the increased administrative load, allowing us to focus on fostering meaningful connections and discussions.
- Sustainability: The fee will enable us to invest in the necessary tools and technologies to keep our listserv running smoothly, ensuring that we can continue to serve our members effectively.
Membership Fee Details
The annual membership fee is set at $35. This fee remains consistent regardless of the time of year you join. The annual fee will charge automatically each year from the time of your payment. We believe this approach is fair and straightforward, allowing all members to contribute equally to the sustenance of our vibrant community. New Members will be charged upon joining, and existing members are asked to pay as soon as you receive this notice. Membership will renew annually.
How to Pay
To facilitate the payment process, we are accepting payments through Square, a safe and secure platform. Once you apply to become a member and are approved, we will send you the link to pay the annual fee. Once the fee is paid will be added to our wonderful community!
